Dance Its Christmas!

Let us dance and sing
And pass on the joy that Christmas brings!

Hope youve had a very merry Christmas and spread some joy! In half an hour Christmas is over and Im glad that despite the madness ( were shifting homes again, woe is me!) I got to see beautiful trees, and meet some lovely people to cheer the spirits today! Much love and many hugs to all of you and your families!

When Time Stands Still

quaint little doors and yellow houses
lake in the middle of nowhere - auroville

Living in Pondicherry is so inspiring, Im surrounded by a quaint beauty that is unique to most towns in India.
And its not just the place, its got some incredibly interesting people living in it too- creating the most exciting things. Sometimes I go around with my sketchbook and scribble away, something to look at and drown in someday when im far away in a horrible noisy city. This morning I was in auroville at a gorgeous lake. There were birds chirping and I think I almost forgot to draw, it was just so peaceful.

And on a sadder note, all the likes from that facebook like button have suddenly been erased and i dont know how ! it makes me a bit sad. So do leave your comments as well as clicking on like, I really would love to hear from you !

New Beginnings

What a crazy way to start the new year. When nature lashes out the way it has in Pondicherry, it is.. humbling. It really is a reminder that we are just a little speck in the universe. Big trees all lying with their roots in the air. I feel really sad that the trees have got the worst of the cyclone, and that Pondi has lost about half its green. It soothed my heart to look out my window and see plenty of green..happily, my favourite tree which flowers white is still standing, but the others have been brought down.

 from my window.

Since I dont want my very first post of the year to be a complete downer, I think I should let you know that Pondicherry is full of life and back to normal in every other way. And we still do have a few trees standing. Energies are high ,and there is still plenty of hope.
And i did have a marvellously inspiring trip to Rajasthan :)
