Madly Moonly

love is most mad and moonly
and less it shall unbe
than all the sea which only
is deeper than the sea

And that would be the last you hear of the andamans from me, I promise.

Under the Sea

To see the world in technicolour, to not have to imagine because in front of you is the unimaginable.
I never dreamt it was really possible and I feel so fortunate to have seen. I spent an incredible week at the andaman islands and each day was a feast for the senses. seas that lasted forever, turquoise blue beyond belief. fish in a million colours, shapes and sizes- glowing. graceful. ( I was the clumsy creature underwater). I loved loved loved this beautiful, magical, mysterious place where ancient tribes still live a life untouched by civilization, elephants swim and dolphins- I saw a dolphin! you have to see to believe.

so heres a glimpse - and a few more next week !!

Bubbles of Promise

There is much that one can learn from watching the sea.
Good things come and go, and life has to go on.
Sometimes, the dream you have been working on and dreaming of for so long, that tickles the tips
of your toes with its tantalising bubbles of promise, may just come in with the next wave.
It brings you peace, it exudes calm, it teaches you patience.

I miss the sea. My mind feels so clogged with dreams and hopes and thoughts and other people that I can barely see whats ahead of me. thinking of the sea helps. a trip home is due.

A World With a Story

The sky, the sea, carved stones that don't realise they are old, but know that they are special.
The shore temple has been eroded by the waves from the sea, and the heavy sea winds. But that's what makes it so beautiful, almost soulful. While walking through it, I could sense the many secrets held within its walls. The carvings are almost not there. a figment of your imagination. Surrounded by the sea as it once was, how mystical it would have been. I haven't looked enough, but have to leave.      Mahaballipuram '11

Lost in The Sea

                                                                   For whatever we lose,
like a you or a me
                                                                                   It's always ourselves we find
                                                                                                   in the sea.
